Boris Efimov (1900 - 2008) was a leading Soviet political cartoonist who enjoyed an astounding 90 year career that began shortly after the Revolution. He was famous for his caricatures of Hitler and Trotsky but perhaps even more for his satirical jabs at the West during the Cold War. Efimov put his pen to different use in this great poster urging détente during Perestroika.
