This is a very beautiful turn-of-the-century "Information Style" travel poster - 5 elegant insets of Italy's top tourist destinations (Florence, Pompeii, Rome, Milan and Venice) surrounded by rich floral designs. Most posters in this style, in an attempt to educate a public unfamiliar with travel, were graphically disorganized and crammed with images, maps and timetables. Cussetti's poster, surmounted by a train wheel with wings, is the exception - an astonishingly elegant Art Nouveau masterpiece.
