Minute Man National Historic Park,
1975
A classic Paul Rand typographic poster design created for the National Park Service's U.S. Bicentennial celebration in 1975. Like Rand's designs for IBM and Next, this poster exudes a bold clarity of text. In this case, Rand cleverly inserted a small black and white photograph of the famous statue of the colonial Minute Man which stands in the Park in Lexington, Massachusetts.
Now very hard to find and in excellent condition.
